Asa Baako Artists Booking Policy

We aim to support rising local music talent and offer an environment where artists can come together from all over the world to create and collaborate. We are particularly interested in DJ, artists and perfomers working in, or influenced by Afro EDM, Afro House, Alternative Afro genres, Afro-Folk, African Electronic, Afrobeat, Afrobeats, Amapiano and more.

How to Apply – Artist Enquiries

Include:

• A short bio and description of your act
• Your location (city & country)
• Your genre(s) and a brief description of your sound
• Links to your music (e.g. SoundCloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc.)
• Links to live performance videos, if available
• Your social media handles and/or website
• Size of your touring party (number of performers)

All enquiries will be forwarded to our programming team, who will review submissions and get back to you if they would like to include you in the 2026 line-up.

Please note: due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to every submission individually.


International Artists (Outside of Ghana)

Asa Baako – One Dance is a small but growing festival with a modest budget and we’re not able to cover international travel or full touring costs.

We encourage artists from outside Ghana to seek support from donors, sponsors, cultural institutes, embassies or funding bodies to cover flights, visas, insurance, per diems and other touring expenses. We will do our best to support by providing a formal invitation letter to support your funding or sponsorship applications.

Independent Promoters & Sound Systems

We also invite independent promoters and sound system collectives who are aligned with our musical direction and values to get in touch.
